Bold, very red and over fond of Chinese kitsch, it is at least committed to its aesthetic, and the drinks are pretty damn fine. There’s a wide array of sake-based cocktails which should please even picky drinkers – and there’s even sake bottle service, something Susie Wong was the first to offer. Bar food is way above average too with the kitchen manned by the former chef at Ruby Foo’s. The party mood keeps going well into the morning and they even offer their own customized fortune cookies - with slightly more risqué predictions than most. |
